Leighton was born in Kingston, Jamaica and came to America when he was three months old. After spending six years in New York, his family relocated to Broward County, Florida. Years later he graduated from Cooper City High School then the University of Florida. Leighton got his first insurance license months after graduating college. After working with a leading firm in the financial services industry, his path led him to one of the most respected commercial insurance companies in the country. He worked there for nearly a decade and developed a multimillion-dollar book of business in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. He enjoyed his time with that firm but left to start his own agency in Broward County and reunite his immediate and extended family.
Leighton is married to his wife Kristina. They have a blended family with four amazing children. Oddly enough, the central character in my biography is ‘YOU.’ As I look back on my life, I realize that all of my experiences have helped me discover and prepare for my mission: helping you achieve your business goals with confidence.
